Mud guys that run the 38x11 on the front, What kind of wheel offset do you like. Does the front need to be narrower than the rear, or vice versa. I could fit a 1.5" spacer on each side and still fit on the trailer. Right now the edge of the tire is even with the edge of the fender. I'd like it to stick out some to throw mud somewhere other than in the fender well.

i like to keep my track width identical front to rear. I run as little front offset as possible because the more offset you have, more chance you take of bending the spindles (tuff truck thing). I run about 2" of wheel width stagger front to rear. it seems to give a little more precise steering response.

it all depends on what you are doing. For mud bogs/drags I run a stock backspacing (actually a factory aluminum wheel) on my 38.5x11 boggers for the fronts and have the rears just a bit wider offset. When I put the 39.5x18 cuts on the back I go back to a stock offset since the cuts are much wider.
But then again I am running full size axles/frame with a ranger body, so my tires stick pretty far out of the fenders anyways.....

i used te same backspacing when i built mine, but ran 8 wides front, 10 wides rear with 35x10.50 front and 35x14 rear. worked good for me, of coarse i had more money in tires and wheels than in the truck lol.

Beware of what you wish for, I have full size axles under a bronco II and all four tires stick out past the fender wells and after the first 10 feet you cant see a thing out of the windshield. I have to look out the(door which does not have glass) side an watch the pit to keep it going somewhat straight!!
