c6 what broke?

c6 had a full manual vb.i jumped a 60 foot double and after only had 3rd gear. thought the vb was the culpret so i changed it out. now the trans is locked up. it will work in 3rd and rev only?? im pulling it out today just wondering what you think broke

Lets do a power flow.

Manual Ist gear uses the forward clutch and the O/R clutch, low/reverse clutch or both.
Second gear uses the forward clutch and band.
Third gear uses the forward and direct clutches.
Reverse uses the direct and low/reverse clutches.

The direct clutch is probably welded together.

Direct clutches welded together. Had same problem last year.
