I have a 40 and 100 micron inline fuel filters. Which one goes before the fuel pump?
Do people still run dual fuel filter like this?
I'm running -8 from the pump to the carb, will -8 from the tank to the pump be large enough?
Should I run two -8 lines from the tank, into a y-block then the pump?
160gph fuel, pump with a by-pass regulator. I'll run a seperate front mount fuelcell for the nitrous system.

100 before, 40 after.

I'm not sure what your package is, but I run -12 from the tank to the pump (prostar 500) and -10 to the regulator and -8 to each bowl. If you plan on upgrading sometime down the road, (most people do) you might want to think about setting it up similar. I haven't installed my nitrous setup yet, but it will have it's own pump and tank at the front of the car.
Hope that helps,
John

I'm running the Edelbrock race pump, Trickflow filters and Quickfuel regulator. All of the inlets and outlets are either 1/2npt or -8. I thought about running -10 but I didn't see how it would help when all the in's & out's are -8. (That is from the pump to the carb.)

160gph fuel, pump with a by-pass regulator. I'll run a seperate front mount fuelcell for the nitrous system. The pump should be fed with one size larger line then what you are running to the regulator with and running 2 8's into a tee will still not work as you run the risk of pulling one side dry. In regards to the filter you want the one with the lowest micron number before the pump as long as it is not restrictive. Our 5000 filters are rate at 8 micron , the lower the micron number the smaller the particles they catch. Some guys still do run a filter after the pump but it is more to catch debris should a pump come apart or have a line fail internally.

I think I am going to just mount the filter and pump straight to the fuel cell. No line between the two.
