I finally put a fuel cell in my cougar last week Jon fabion (Richter 69) helped a Ton ! he built the mount for my Cell and fuel pump, plumped the return, AND loaned me his fuel pump cause mine leaked. Not a bad guy to know huh ? Thanks Jon !!
If any one ever wonders if they should put a fuel cell in or get rid of the mechanical pump, let me say that my car picked up from a best of 12.31 @ 106 to a 11.90 @113.7 with timing at 32 degrees.
The guys have told me for a while I need to do this. Boy were they right.

Get that intake resealed Shane, here in a few weeks when you get ready to go test again I'll bring that other carb and my regulator and we'll see how it runs on some alky..............;)

Before you do get some sort of slapper bar and those Koni shocks on the front, see how deep in the 11's we can go.

Did you take the foam out of the fuel cell?
Because I didn't take mine out and it started to deteriorate after 3 months!!

I pulled it out for him and threw it in the trash, then cleaned all the fuzz out it left behind.
