Does anybody have some pics on how to reinforce torque boxes? Or can you tell me? Is that what the X bars does when they are welded over the boxes inside the car?
Any help would be greatful.
Thanks!

You can visit our website and see many pics of these parts upper and lower torque box reinforcements on a mustang and what happens when you don't . If you have any questions just email me!
Thanks,

Never ran the aftermarket box reinforcements . . . really just weld up the seams.
I've seen quite a few cars run mid 5s in the 1/8 with just welded up uppers and a plate welded to the lowers (like the comp engineering one)

Get under the car and weld every seam you see. After you are tired of welding look at it all and find the ones you missed and weld them too. I have done this on several cars and have not had a problem yet.

I am new to building a mustang and just got one can someone tell me where the torq boxes are located? Are they the boxes on the body that the trailing arms connect to?
