Braided hoses

With all the different manufactors of braided hoses out,(russel,earl,summit,aeroquipt,etc) I have a question.

With in the same type hose, i.e. ss braided,push loc, etc,

with in the same hose family will the fittings from other makes work with different hoses?

Do all the hoses in the same family type use the same ID and OD?

I have some ss braided hose and need to make up some fuel lines but not sure what brand fittings to buy.

Yes they should or at least in my case they did. WE had many different fittings around the shop and a couple of different hoses and I never seemed to have a problem.

x2 . . . as long as the type of hose matches the fitting you shouldn't have a problem.
