65Falcon

I'm building a 65 falcon with a BB. I have purchased a tremec 600 with 2.87
1st gear. I have a 28'' x 11'' rear and a 3.90 rearend gear. This car is going to be a street/strip car with primarily being driven on the street. I realize to an extent that it's an opinion, but i'm interested in others opinion on whether i went too far on the rear gear and gave myself a granny gear.
the solid cam pawer range is between 3K - 6,8. My goal was definitely to have a wils street car, i'm just wondering if i went too far. I wanted to have a lot of fun 1-4 and decent crusing rpms for the long haul in 5. Thanks in advance for your opinions.
