Hello. I see that you are a senior member here and a friend of Roy's (butterbean). I am having trouble reaching him. I purchased some rockers for my 460 from him. I have purchased things in the past from Roy with no problems. But I have paid for the rockers and shipping through Walmart moneygram back in JANUARY!!!. I still dont have any rockers after he has told me multiple times he has shipped them. The last message was from Feb 10th in which he said he had been to a funeral and been sick. He said then that he would ship the rockers that day and throw in a set of push rods. I still have no rockers, he doesn't answer texts and wont return any messages. I have been trying to give benefit of doubt, but his profile here says that he was active here a couple days ago. If he can do that, he can message me about my parts. Sorry to involve you but I see you are friends and I would like to get this resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi John, I don't foresee any valve to piston clearance problems with that set up. That being said, I always clay all of my motors just to be sure.
Push rods: As long as the height of the deck, heads, valve installed height and head gasket are all unchanged then you should be close; still, check your mid lift geometry to make sure that you're where you should be so you aren't loosing lift and duration that you've paid for. Hope that helps.

Hello Rob, If I have a stock bottom end 22cc dish pistons and I run a Comp Cam (34-236-4) .554-.557 lift And C8ve heads with 2.19-1.76 valves Do I use stock length push rods and 1.73 rollers? Also will the valves clear the pistons or do I need reliefs? Any help is greatly appriciated. Johnf

Hi there Rob. Dennis is the Flat Rod that I mentioned and I live up here in Fairbanks Ak. I used to race a white 67 Mustang with a small block that Dennis always had a lot to do with up untill 1997.

Got my "DOORSLAMMERS" book today, sure wish I had taken TRIG in High School. That was always one of those things that you would never need or use.
