Hi, I'm Brian. I have a 77 LTDII. It looks a lot like your car. I have pics, but don't know how to post them correctly. I'll be putting in a 460 from a 78 lincoln. Nice car. Join my group called "Gun Boats" I'll send you a friend request. We can share ideas. I have a friend on here; JimW, he has a 76 Starsky and Hutch Torino that rips. I love it when a big car goes fast, it makes the ricers feel silly.

What block are you going to use? flat tops should be in there somewhere with a later block, if using a dove block you would need dished pistons with 75 cc heads.. I have a set of speed pro hypereutectics at .030 oversize that have only an hour or so run time on them on rods, been balanced but one piston caught a valve so it needs replaced with the new one I bought for it so you would need to change one piston but it is already in the box. if they would work a couple hundred and shipping will get them to you. Dan Parker 208 201 4338 if they will work! Thanks Dan

The only ones I have are the 30 over venolia flat tops that have the .990 pin diameter. You would have to have stock rods rebushed or buy aftermarjet with .990 pin bushings
