    Oh you sneaky bugger you! You didn't even say you were going to get it! lol Well, it's one of the most informative books in my library. It might take a little while to ingest it but, man, the information in there! NOW the competition won't have NOTHIN' on 'ya! lol What kind of suspension is in the truck?

    The "HOT" line on the transmission is the one close to the bellhousing.

    If you've found another 460 for 500 I'd do that 'til you get a chance to go through the other one. Just "SCRACHED UP" is not fine, There are small particles of metal embedded in the bearings through-out the engine, you're asking for trouble.

    Man I'm having a rough time deciding. I need your help.

    I need a way to go to work and school and the Ford was currently my way of going until the oil issue.

    I don't know whether to go buy this good used 460 for $500 or take the whole engine apart (don't know how to put it all back together really) or just put the main cap and rod bearing back on. The rod bearing looked fine, just scratched up...you've seen the pictures.

    I just don't know what to do. I need a way of going.
