I BUILT A 552 STROKER. THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG, HAS NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF OIL LEAKS, AND DOES NOT FOUL PLUGS. THE PROBLEM IS THE ENGINE CONSUMES ABOUT 1 QUART OF OIL FOR EVERY 150 MILES DRIVEN. I HAD A PROBLEM IN THE PAST WHERE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD SQUEEZED OUT AND OIL WAS BEING SUCKED IN FROM THE VALLEY AND BURNING IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER. I HAVE A D9TE BLOCK AND D2VE HEADS WITH A 7166 EDELBROCK MANIFOLD. IS THAT THE CORRECT MANIFOLD FOR THE TALL DECK HIEGHT (10.322") ? ANY SUGGESTION ON A DIFFERENT GASKET OR MANIFOLD?
