HELP Installing new carb on 460

My 1985 Ford F250 with the stock motorcraft/holley 4180c needs a new carb. Yesterday my local autoparts store sold me the 0-80457S Holley 4160 carb and said it was a easy bolt on .... upon removing the old carb I see they were drastically wrong. BIG QUESTION ... will the new holley work on my stock engine? I see it has no venturi vent hookups for the big hoses ... can I delete those with no ill effects? And which port do I hook up the EGR valve to? Basically I am wondering if I need to return this new carb and try and find a more direct bolt on OR if you guys know how to make it fit. PLEASE HELP
