Fairlanes4ever I've run Hoosiers for many years with excellent results but when you live in Indiana your pretty much obligated to run at least one set.

MarkGubinski I ran Goodyears for 15 years & helped develop the new yellow lettered slicks. Way better than the old ones. But they screwed me on my payment for the testing I did. Went to Hoosier, never looked back. Better traction, lasts longer & doesn't cost as much.

kyle102565 I had 28X9 Hoosiers. I went to 30X9 Mickeys. Likely a 30 Hoosier would have worked, but you cant beat MT E/T Drags. Goodyears I have never tried, Topfuel has no problem with them. Damn! slicks are getting pricey!!!!

butterbean what size Hoosiers were you using and what M/T did you put on back on it???

kyle102565 I ran Hoosiers and found them to be greasy. M/T ETs fixed that. Minimal burnout and they stick like glue.

Anquia We run Goodyear 2622 (34.5's) and been very happy with them. Different types of cars & the type of power adder seem to determine what most guys will run.

Hoosier slicks all the way, In 1 year I made 300 passes at tracks all in the south east and used all the name brands and I found that Hoosiers worked best for me, 71 Buick GS Stage 1 all buick stock parts, heads, bolck, crank, soild flat tappet cam and no stroker stuff, it ran 6.65@103.50 in the 1/8th and 10.42@126.00 in the 1/4

White Lightning .....I prefer Good Years, but that's only a personal preference, nothing technical about it.
I think that they both are good tires brands. It's a matter of picking the right tire for your application.
