stc315 What's the cost to have threaded inlets (for jet boat)? I'm assuming mounting rail kit mounts will be the same as motor plates?
Thanks,
Sam

Paul Kane We now have a new, optional cover plate for our Quick Change Timing Covers. You may opt for this new cover blank which is thinner than the standard Cover Plate and isn't machined for use with a cam-driven fuel pump. This narrower cover blank provides greater clearance for the mounting of an electric waterpump directly to our cover. Also works great for jet boats or other engine applications which do not use a cam-driven accessory.

All Quick Change Timing Cover and Hex Drive pricing may be found at the top post in this thread.

With the belt drive, you could leave it as is and then run a belt-driven fuel pump from your crankshaft. Another option is to run the belt drive with the typical Enderle/Hilborn (etc) cam driven fuel pump positioned several inches in front of the belt drive and affixed there on a support that looks similar to the crankshaft supports seen on the lower end of blower engines. In my personal opinion, those two setups appear more convoluted, "busy," and are less service friendly (ie, higher service effort) than our modular componentry which is more compact, self contained, and which allows the use of only as much or as little of the specific parts necessary for the engine build in question. Nevertheless, yes there are ways to run an external fuel pump with your current belt drive setup.

If you want to talk more about front drive setup options (both belt and chain) call me a call and we can discuss.

gordyd4 Hi Paul,
I did end up going another route on the engine block. I bought the 827" Hemi parts motor off the classifieds a couple weeks ago.
