Has anyone had this happen to them before? I broke the case right in half. Not too happy at the moment. Wondering if I can get a replacement case from Eaton, Until then I will use a spool.
No I have not seen that yet. I would think Eaton could hook you up with a new case. If it's a 9" I see Detroits cheap on ebay, and saw an empty case once. It allmost looks like it could be welded back it broke so cleanly, but probably a real bad idea.
Truck is a 78 Bronco with 9 inches of lift and 38" bogger's. The motor is a 400 with 411hp at the crank(had it dynoed). Tranny is a C6 with a reverse manual valve body with all the goodies and a 2400 stall. The truck is my street driver and show truck. Broke enough stuff mudding my old one.
freak 78,
I am a newbie here but veteran of other forums. Would you be interested in selling the internals? I have a similar locker with some missing pieces and would like to make it work again. Understand if you don't . had to ask.
Thanks in advance,
Randy
freak78,
Are you still out there? Any chance you'd sell the broken locker? Or do you want the case I have?
Randy
