Just curious what your educated guess would be I have a number in my head but I'm just guessing would like someone with more knowledge tell me what they think.

.060 d1ve block
-3cc dish probe pistons for scj 13.3-1 comp.
6.8 probe h beams
4.3 forged probe crank
Max ported scj's no flow numbers
Comp xr292r solid roller 292/298 .671/.678 110 lc
1.8 comp rockers lift is .698/.705 with theses
Lunati roller lifters
Ported victor 460
Hvh spacer
1190 king demon
2 1/8" truck puller headers

And what are thought on this combo

I do not know the flow of your "max ported SCJ's, so I figured 388 cfm at .7 inch on the intakes and 242 cfm at .7 inch on the exhaust. I ran the specs of your engine through my Dyno Sim Pro Tools software, and the program said 559 lb ft at 2000 rpm and 683 lb ft at 4500. As for HP, 696 at 6,000 rpm and holding to 688 at 6,500 rpm. The DCR was 9.85 and the cranking pressure was 207 psi. With 13.3 compression ratio, a custom cam will make more power.

A software program and flow numbers are not the Holy Grail. But they are indicators. As for your heads, I used P51's as a baseline (minus about 3% flow). IMO that cam has basically BBC specs. Again, IMO the Intake lobe and exhaust lobe angles are not right, the lobe centerline angle is off, and the exhaust duration is too close th the intake duration. I had the software develop a cam for maximum HP under the curve (750), and a cam for maximum torque under the curve (720). I am a hobbyist in this sport, not a professional, and if I was you, I would get the heads and intake flowed, get in touch with one of the professionals on this site and get a custon cam made. Get your combination as spot on as you can. Best to you, Dan

DanE I appreciate the reply it just the numbers were not what I was expecting. The bad part is the cam is bought and so is the valve springs don't know if its in the budget to order those again. Oh yeah this is going in a 79 short 4x4

Well the assembly is finally here not together yet but here. It's a flat top 557 cu in the cam were planning on going with is 277/285@.050 .746/.756 with a 110 lobe center. This cam should be better than the previous one I had.
