Sounds like you lost 12v power in the crank position from your ignition switch. Does it try and sputter when you let go of the key from crank to run? Need to test for 12v into the MSD in crank...

I know modern day 500" pro stockers are WELL above 10,000 rpm these days. Some even 11k... May not be a 5" bore but, man do they sound great! :)

4.10 to a 4.30 is only going to net you about 200 rpm increase with no other changes. If you need more may want to go with a 4.56 (will give you around 400 rpm) or 4.88....
