Valley pan intake sealing.

Does anybody seal both sides of the valley pan gasket where it meets the china wall with silicone or just the bottom? Personally I don't do the top side but am now questioning myself.

What would be the max sustainable temp while towing? Could you run 220* on a long uphill climb for 1/2 hr or so? I've always been told that damage starts @ 230* and heads can start to crack @235*....

How about relocating the entire cooler to somewhere else on or under the chassis? Even if it only works @ 50% air flow that's still enough cooling....and besides it's paid for.
