I checked out the 6214 throttle opening and it has linkage issues which is why the primaries open sooner than the secondaries. It is a 1 to 1 ratio linkage.
I only paid $39 for it so I can nail it...

Check it out like I said in my previous post before deciding to rebuild it. I'd bet there's exhaust getting into the crankcase. If you had one cylinder low on compression it would be a head gasket....

The ring must be sticking in the groove. You shouldn't be able to get carbon buildup on the face of the ring like that. I'd put in a new piston with new rings on that cylinder.

I welded the pressure tank piece to the removable tranny hump then had to evacuate my house for a while. The tank must have used some kind of epoxy paint or the like because it really made me dizzy....
