mine is doing the same thing but it "feels" that it's engaged in 4-lo but only the front spins....any ideas where to look first? do I have to drop the case to inspect it?

i had a stock 68 460 with comp 280 k kit and...

i had a stock 68 460 with comp 280 k kit and removed hump in the heads with rpm intake, 2500 converter, 3.50 gear, 3500lbs - 112mph and 14mpg

I be it would've loved the c460 cam or an rpm cam.

I think it will peak around 54-5600 installed "straight up". I woudl shift 55-5800. If you've never run a bias ply car at 100+ ease into a full pass...it will move around on you.

Crites Restoration BBF Engine Mounts; 67-70 Mustang

Lower steel mounts only, Gen 1.

Will work with FPA headers and Crites Gen 1 headers. May also work with Gen 2 headers but you would need to call crites to confirm.

These are nice heavy duty...
