I used 4 cyl springs with 90/10s and the setup worked well until the car started going upper 140s trap speed. I then upgraded to QA-1 single adjustables and the car is rock solid.

You're probably right. The car was built mainly for footbrake brackets which is why we went with the 4150. I would like to test with a 4500 just to see how much it picks up tho.

The 532 had ported iron heads (D0VE) which was the limiting factor. The car did 60' slightly better with the smaller heads, but not surprisingly, made much less power up top.
