Bad news. Pulled spark plugs to turn the motor by hand, and one of the cylinders was FULL of water. Engine is locked up. So, I guess I'll keep assembling, then in the future, build a motor the way...

Got the coil buckets and motor mount towers painted and bolted back into place, using grade 8 hardware from TSC. Drilled out the holes from 7/16" to 1/2". Much cheaper to use 1/2" hardware.
