No they're not the same, the floaters are what "attaches" the axle to the leaf springs. There is a slot in the mounting plate that gives you some movement between the axle tube and springs to keep it...

Electric power steering pump

The power steering on my '79 Bronco mud truck works really good up till my first run, I don't think it likes the 7000 RPMs and it gets hot and sometimes pushes the dipstick out breaking the tabs off....

I used the factory, un-altered bracket from my Bronco's 351m on my 460. It's the same one as picture #5 above. There are some alignment spacers needed.
