All 429/460 blocks will fit a 4.5" crank, with little or no re-work.

Why can't you put the wheel up in a lathe and machine it so it does fit?
I don't think you need to sell the dampener just because the wheel doesn't bolt on (with out modification)

I had to replace my Scat 4.5" crank with a Lunati Voodoo crank in my A460 block.
I mocked it up last week and there was no interference issues.

I use the R5671A-9 in my engine. Its a 577 ci, 12 to 1 comp, race only using Sonoco Supreme.

With out the restrictors, the sump would be pumped dry pretty quick.
All the oil would have been up in the valve covers.

X1 on the .100" longer valves. I got them from Lem.

I'm not sure about the SCJ's,(I think they are the same as P-51's) but on my P-51 heads, unless you moved one of the bolt holes it would be very difficult to fit larger than 2.125 pipes on the std...
