In the past I have ran a 10.5:1 460ci engine with C8 heads and an old school comp 280 magnum grind of 230/230 on a 110 with a 180 stat on these same streets....

230/230 @ 0.050" on a 110 - made 180psi cranking pressure and ran fine on 93 octane with max timing , and 180 deg...

The above would be for a BBF in a truck application...so no radical cam's...I mean...
