Check the fuel level. If it stalls out when stopping, that's usually the cause. The fuel level is too high.

Valley pan intake sealing.

Does anybody seal both sides of the valley pan gasket where it meets the china wall with silicone or just the bottom? Personally I don't do the top side but am now questioning myself.

What would be the max sustainable temp while towing? Could you run 220* on a long uphill climb for 1/2 hr or so? I've always been told that damage starts @ 230* and heads can start to crack @235*....
