It won't be a sweat to make 500/570# by 5000 rpm with those parts. I do agree that a custom camshaft is the way to go so you get what you want.

Smarter not MORE. I recammed a 572 back 4 or 5 months ago. Took 5 degrees of lobe sep out of it, .120 of lift, and 9 degrees of duration. Result was 90HP and 60#/ft. Bigger is no always better.
