Is it a possibility you put a longer valve body...

Is it a possibility you put a longer valve body bolt in the wrong spot causing it to grab something in 2nd gear? I know I've seen it happen on 4l60 and 4l80 transmission where it would just lock...

Randy was correct, Changed to a digital timing light with advance and timing was out a few degrees. Sorry randy was using a cheapy light and thought was good

Ah forgot strict mud truck 4500 lbs 3500 stall convertor 200 ft pits

This was eight runs at wide open throttle @ 1952 ft elevation.

I did not dyno the engine after the new carb just installed...

If you can wait frank merkl c6 transmissions are the most reliable units for the price, I think 3600 or so you can get full rollerized billet drum,hardened input and comes with his reverse manual...

I got the 31 spline yukon last January and just purchased all my new 35 spline stuff this past month.

I even had to machine a couple thou near the splines due to the splines not being deep enough...
