Performer manifold and this spacer?

Just found this on the Edelbrock site. Any thoughts on this vs a 4 hole on a Performer manifold in a towing application? I know it's not the 3 hole JOMAR that's recommended but thought I'd ask...

That 1 1/2 number is a starting point from all the way in. With the car running,turn the screws in until RPM drops, then back out 1/8 to 1/4 turn.

If you're in doubt, start with the smallest screwdriver you have to get a feel for the torque needed rather than grab a big one that will snap a bolt before you even "lean" on it.
