I had to place the cross member back several inches. The drive shaft has to be shortened several inches also.
After having a C6 the E4 is much better for the street.

I made this swap in my Fox Mustang with 460 and am very pleased. The C6 and loose converter ran about 3500 rpm at 60 mph and the E40D with converter locked up turns about 2200 rpm.

Fel-pro 1231-s3 is available from Summit and other on-line vendors. The plain 1231 is a piece of poop unless its changed very often.

Don.t know about the Supercomps but my headers that were on a 460/c6 fit the e4od just fine.
The closest spot was next to the range sensor.

When I bought my Lakewood shield it didn't come with a block plate and they didn't offer one for sale so I just made one out of 10 gauge steel.
Worked great but had to take a shim out of the starter...

I have one in my Fox body and it is out of a late model Mustang . It gives extra clearance for valve covers and really works good. My son also uses one in his 67Stang and was fairly easy to install....
