I need to call the guy and see but his ad says they have been cleaned and inspected by a machine shop. I am looking to go for a direct replacement without porting.
Yes, they are worth the money and the swap... They are a much needed improvement over the D3 heads... If you're just going to do a direct swap, you won't be sorry... As stated, they have smaller combustion chambers, bigger valves, and better ports...
Okay, they have been dipped and cleaned by a machine shop. The casting # is D2OE-AB. He has the receipt from the shop that checked them out. They are bare. What am I looking at price wise to get them re-built and how hard is it to find parts for? Thanks.
I paid $500 for mine. And drove three hours to get 'em.
