Default Blower motor build how many inches?

What size cubic inch would be best?. I have a 8;71 blower with a big uggly hat. Have a set of eledbrock heads #61649 72cc. Would the heads be ok or not. The motor, this setup came off of ran steel heads w/big valves and port work. It made 1,100 hp on race gas! I'am running aochol. Motor is going in a top sportsman ranger.

Change the heads and upgrade to something better. I assume you already have an blower intake manifold, and it's probably a Blue Thunder or BDS unit. Therefore, if you want to keep your present intake manifold,,,,and since you are running a blower,,,,I would suggest that the Blue Thunder CJ heads with the Chevy bolt pattern exhaust ports would be the easiest/best way to go.

The blower will take care of the intake side,,,,and then the raised exhaust port (with the Chevy bolt pattern) when ported will be your best flowing exhaust port of all the CJ style heads. The exhaust should flow around 280-285 cfm without a test pipe.

Build an engine in the 521 to 540 cubic inch range.
