Default Bellhousing with starter on left side of car

Hi All,
Trying to get a bellhousing to go from my t400 box to a 460 but want to have the starter motor on the left hand side due to steering clearance issues. I have a j&w on another setup i have which is awesome but i have contacted them and they don't do one with the starter on the other side. Any one know who may be able to make one or help out with this one?

Motor is going into a merc. body so the steering box is in the way.I will be using custom extractors for this setup as i don't imagine anyone would have a set to slide straight in.

I think was the rod shop did a clevo one , maybe worth a try. Failing that need to fabricate something like a mid plate sort of deal with starter relocated

Have emailed almost every bellhousing and engine plate maker i can find on the web and no one can or will do it. Can't believe there is no one out there capable of such things. I did expect it to be a lot easier i got to say.

The other day there was a thread on the bullet asking about skinny kid race cars front plates. SKRC posted up a pic. Besides the front the from plate the pic showed an adapter midplate with the starter moved to the left. You might contact skinny kid and ask.

They DO make list them on their site with a left hand starter for sbf to chevy trans adapter plates, so it seems reasonable they could make one for a bbf.

Also, my friend David Willingham at Advanced Motorsports Engineering made a midplate adapter for his personal race truck. I've seen it. His issue was a dry sump pan with a large kickout on the right. No room for a starter. I don't know if he would be interested in doing a single pc, might be too labor intensive. You could ask.

Sadly Skinny Kid are not able to do it for us. Looks like we will be doing it ourselves.
