Talking TH400 Adapter in a Fox

Hey all, first post.

I have an '84 Mustang Hatchback with a 473" BBF. Pretty mild. Ported C9VE heads, 10.5:1 compression and 275DEH cam.

I got a TH400 trans for it, dropped out the C6, and am starting to fit up the adapter plate. The headers will not fit past the starter area of the plate. Its the TCI swap plate and flexplate. I already got rid of the C6 so theres no turning back now.

Anyone else ever done this?

Thanks a ton!

ChuckB
