Default Pulling a sled with my mud truck ?!

Local fairground is having a truck pull next month, there having a "run what you brung" 4x4 gasser class to try and attract the local mud race community, I'm thinking I'm gonna run my truck with 38 boggers , I don't think my 14 bolt and d60 with 5.13s will come apart , does anyone think otherwise ?!

Id find a set of 33 inch all terrains if I were you, depending on how much power your putting down that dana 60 wont live long with thoose big tires, u joint, yoke or ring and pinion failure. Where are you from?

Ok,way to much traction with those boggers that equals driveline disaster. Good luck on your pull but beware, Its addicting.

Thanks for the warning , and I'll leave the boggers at home. I've never done it but I'm guessing 4lo 1st gear?

So the object is to pick up as much speed before the sled hits the dirt and you start spinning? Sorry for my ignorance I've never paid close attention to pulling

Springs are half the battle in a truck pull. If you keep the back end from squatting under load then you're pulling weight off the sled and making it easier to pull!

Hmmmm,.... sounds like a lifted truck.....

if it starts bouncing....... LET OUT....!! It aint worth it....!

Lifted trucks n truck pullin are sometimes not a good combo...
