After looking at my stock tank, it looks as though there is room to just place appropriate sized bulkhead fittings at the bottom rear edge of the tank. With the angle it is, I don't see any real reason to weld in a sump, unless there is another purpose (other than just getting enough fuel at the bottom due to the angle of some tanks)?

I notice that many cells have 2 feeds... is this necessary, or just so you have an extra pickup for something like a dedicated nos feed? As far as a return line, I don't know if it should be placed near the feed for the pump, or above it in an indirect path... or is location very important?

Looking at psquared75's sending unit, it looks as though I can put a properly sized vent there, and plug the original fuel pump feed.

And for what is the last part of this question... are these the type of bulkheads that I should be looking to use?

Thanks for any advice on this!
Tom
