MIGHT MAKE MORE ON GAS, I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH ALKY, BUT SOME PEOPLE THAT HAVE STEERED ME AWAY FROM ALKY ON THAT EXACT COMBO ESPECAILLY CARBED. INJECTION MIGHT BE A DIFFERNENT STORY.
1,100 or more should not be an issue with gas and a 1450 QFT QFX carb........alky I suspect will be less than Q16.
Vacuum pump, ring package, oil, oil pan, cam, etc. will matter a lot.
YOUR DEFINATELY BEHIEND THE TIMES IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN A SMALL BLOCK FORD MAKE 900+ HP, THERES BEEN A FEW OVER 1000 HP. THE SMALL BLOCK HEADS WE USE FLOW PRETTY CLOSE TO THE A HEAD WITH A MUCH SMALLER PORT - I'M LOOKING FOR THE TQ NOW WITH THE BIG BLOCK ALTHOUGH IT'S A FAIRLY SHORT STROKE.

416 inch comp type motor made 1070 with d3 heads and went somewhere in the 7.20's. yes it can be done 1100 is possible I think with rfd eddy sc1's not my engine a friend of mine's. IJS
Bore? Stroke? Cam? Tough to predict at the best of times. Cubic inch and cylinder head info doesn't give much info to try and make an educated guess. I would imagine it should be 4.25x4.6
