here is the deal. getting ready to do a 460 boat motor build for my v-drive hydro. i have been told that i should build the motor just like you would for a car but that i need to use a marine cam. but i have also been told that the piston to wall clearance,rod and main bearing clearance are different in a boat motor. not looking to build a real radical motor to start with this being my first hydro.
your going to get a better response in the engine tech section and you may want to look at the stickies area in that section. They have posted a sticky on what you should include when asking this type of advice on the board. I'm sure they can help you out over there.
