Has anyone here converted a T-bird T/C 8.8 rear with disc brakes to 5 bolt lug pattern? If so what rotors did you use? Is there any stock type replacement out there that you can just swap on and use the same calipers/brackets? Thanks.
I'm pretty sure late model Explorer disc brakes will bolt up.I just swapped my 8.8 t/c rear for a Currie 9in. conversion, and it uses Explorer calipers and hardware. You could contact them for more info.(714)528-6957.
hope this helps,
Russ
Thanx guys. I know an Explorer rotor is not the same because it is a non vented type. The T/C is a vented rotor. I will check out a Mark VII rear rotor and see if it will work. I also found that a 1990 V6 Mazda MPV van front rotor will work with a 1/8in spacer behind it.
sn95 axles and caliper sets, with north race cars brackets...
thats a pic of their complete kit.. have installed it on several cars now with great results
