Default Engine mount help

Hi there. Hope these fotos work. I am using this type of mount for my ute but need to buy some more. Summit used to have them listed from Transdapt but now they have been made obsolete. Does anyone know if they are the same as a ford part or are they just aftermarket mount, and where i could get some more. I have already had my 460 in and set most things up to suit these mounts so i want to stick with this type.
Thanks for any help

That is a cool looking ride!! Should be a bunch of fun with a big block.

Maybe you could check with Crites http://www.critesrestoration.com/ they have engine mounts for some different stuff.

Default these? they used to be part #9353

trans-dapt #9353 well it used to be. i looked up the number now and it says invalid part #, which would coincide with you saying they may have been discontinued............here is a pic of them on my 460 on the stand..........still on the stand.

i bought them thinking they would work for my torino bolted them to the block and never used them or even installed the motor (and they do not work for my torino anyways without a crossbar and mods), had them for sale on here for a while. i still have them. they were like 65 bucks new.......if these are what u needed i can check shipping (from chicago area) to you ........i would take $25 dollars for them plus the shipping- let me know man-

Those look like the 70 Cougar/Thunderbird 429 mounts in my truck. I found a set on Ebay for ~$65.

when they were listed on transdapt site it had a footnote, (which i had not noticed until i bought them and seen they would not work), that stated it is to be used with thier universal crossmember. i'm guessing you had to do a setup like that to get the motor in your truck/car too, thus having similair (or the same?) mounts as i had pictured. that picture you have is the passenger side correct? mine is the mirror image of it, as it's the driver side.......im pretty sure its the same you are looking for and have in your picture. i have no use for these so let me know if you need them---

Thanks for that. I must get fotos up on the buildup section. Had a worn out 200 6cyl in it so the 460 should really liven it up. Was just going to swap the motor but its got out of control and now its up on a rotisserie getting the works. Will be just a streeter.

Hi there. Bought these mounts and the body mounting plates about 20 years ago for another falcon project. It was just a straight bolt in procedure no mods. I will have a bit more of a look around over here but i think i will be very interested in yours. I was going to get some from summit anyway. Will let you know very soon
