Use glass bead and then after put a clear coat of KBS Diamond coat on it and never do it again. And you can brush it on and it will smooth out like it was sprayed! http://www.kbs-coatings.com/DiamondFinish-Clear.html
Cool. Thanks guys. I've shot manifolds and such before with silica sand and it was way too agressive and it left the piece looking like it was bleached....not natural at all. How about the walnut media or baking soda or something like that? Anyone ever tried something like that?

That's what I was talking about with the glass and soda we mix glass with baking soda if it's bad but sounds like you can just hit yours with glass and go.
Walnut works good on sheet metal never tried it on aluminum.
