Default Video of Bill Wilsons 65 Galaxie

I found a video of the car I drive at Beaver Springs raceway this summer. I will post the link but am not sure how to post the video. Someone else shot it and I just stumbled on to it today.

Link.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...95010a6923.htm

Thanks,
Travis

Looked like the fairlane got out of the groove to the left side of the track. Probably made the difference at the finish line.

The Fairlane got a little loose. There was dew settling on the cars when we ran. I saw the Fairlane run 7.90's earlier in the evening, but after the race we where talking , and James told me that the previous weekend the car went 7.64 at the local OPS race. His car is Badass.

Travis,

Is the '64 Fairlane that same tube chassis '64 car I saw one time at 75/80 in Maryland a few years ago? It was blue then, and I guess he's put a bigger engine in it since then.

Later,
Same car Charlie. It has a 440+ cubic inch small block with tons of nitrous. The car is light, in the neighborhood of 2300lbs. The car is still blue, but the video was shot about 9pm.

The Fairlane is owned by James Houston and I've watched him run in the 7's all day at over 2800 lbs. He runs the local 10.5 stuff around here and he has to weigh 2800 lbs and cross the scale on every pass, alot of the races he runs are 1/8th mile, generally runs 5.0's and 4.90's. He's actually not putting that much nitrous in it, but "not much" depends on how much you're used to spraying (we're spraying 2 systems in a 427 ci smallblock using 32 and 36 nitrous pills), he's also on alchohol.
