Default Starting a on new build P-51 525ci

Starting on my next build 525 ci IDT block with P-51 heads. I will post dyno results and track performance in future. 4.5 bore with 4.125 stroke. 14 to 1 compression with single dominator and one fogger system. Diamond pistons on GMP aluminum rods. Titan oil pump, roller cam 865 Int. 849Exh. 116 lobe sep. hopefully this build can move a 3800 lbs car down the track.

More lift than is needed...may be more LSA even for spray at that c.i.d. .....jmo .

I posted this cause I wanted input. cam company recommend this grind and change firing order. This gross lift will be less with lash and component flex. this is what I,am told.

The firing order is changed to 15486372 and they call it a pro stock F.O. The firing position of 8 and 2 should make the engine run smoother and probably change the choppy sound. The cam is in and they changed the size of the lift after it was ordered. I will install this cam and see how it performs. I had to draw the two F.O.s out on paper and look at the difference.
