I'll bet he had more negative G's when it locked up than he did when he took off

It reminds me once my uncle was racing his old 4 speed 65 Mustang. 14 second car 90mph at the end of the quarter the brake pedal flopped into the dash. He panicked and could not get it into 3rd, he tried second, and then at 90mph downshifted into first. He made a few pretty black circles at the end of the track.

when they reset the trans. after each run, maybe they wrapped the third gear rubberband backwards. never know about thoughs imports...he, he, he.
