That was cool for sure. Yeah he got lucky a couple times, but they'll get it there.

i really thought Morgan was going to let us down but he surprised me. i know the first 2 were gimme's but to debue a new car-new motor- basically new everything and still qualify in an NHRA pro-stock race is exceptional to say the least. but a 62 does not look like the number its going to take to dominate the field. Morgan will have to get the car to run high to mid 50's to dominate and at least a 59 to beat edwards. no doubt he showed great driving skills and supurb reaction times on the tree. Ford went with Morgan they must have seen something there, and i agree lot of potential there if they can get the car hooked up.

Look at all the established guys that didn't make the field, Warren Johnson among them. To me just qualifying is a big deal for a new car. Congrats LM!!!

What happened to John Nobile's 6.60 run. I know it wouldn't have qualified, but the last rundown had him at a 12. or 14. second run?

From what I read he shook real bad coming off the line. Just think if he had made the field, we would have had 2 Ford's in the field.
Guy's here's the other thing we have to look at, by Mid season we should have somewhere around 6 cars trying to make the field, that's a lot to chear about. I think things are going very well already by just making the field. By mid season in 2011 we should be having a lot to chear for with the way things are starting out. This year we'll see the growing pains (Nobile) but it looks really good.
Who is Bob Glidden helping? I heard something about him but my son was talking so I didn't get to hear what they were saying.
