Nobile ran a 6.60? That would have easily put him in the top half of the field.

I saw that last night in qualifying. That sucks. Good ol' Larry made the field again!

Larry broke, but worse, a woman was killed when antron brown had a tire come off. It bounced over the stands and into the pits and hit her. Antron was ok, but it was a pretty bad wreck. All the rain really messed upm the track I think. Even a S/ST car spun and hit the wall on the big end.

Morgan would have won if he could have made a half pass, AJ had big problems off the line and only ran 14 .... they're going to finish PS in gainsville.

Man, that track is horrible. The Pro Stocks were bouncing around like basketballs on the big end. The Pro Stock racers all united and told NHRA that they weren't running on that POS track anymore. They'll have to do something about the bumps down there before they'll go back and race there again.

Maybe it was a blessing that Larry's car broke. He could have been the 3rd one on its lid.

Default Morgan's troubles

I have to wonder if Larry decided to fake the pushrod problem rather than take a chance on crashing the car. I wouldn't blame him if that's what he did. With 3 weeks before Gainsville maybe he will find a few more horsepower!

They tried to run S/St after failing to get TAD down the track. I think NHRA thinks S/ST is short for street sweeper.
