wanting to build a 521 also with the p-51s was thing of the some cam jon used in the 460 he did for the engine challenge(will the same top half but with a 521 with a flat top piston im thinging 12:1 compression what do u guys thing as far as horse power #'s

426 cfm at .600 lift 430 cfm at .840 some ports were higher than that.

Hp and torque numbers in my sig.

magazine # are just that depending which mag ya pick up the numbers are all over the place, for the scj's summits ad says 330-225 then jons site says 345-225 then on his same site the p51 vs. scj add says the scj flows 318-214 so i guess the flow is whatever writeup ya want to believe in.

FWIW Don't get ur pantys in a wad Henry i was also stating a fact just as you were, and i don't have a problem with any of the ads about any type of heads, it can be misleading to some people thats all. Myself i love the scj's on my 472'' i think their awesome as well as the jegs/kaase castings on my small block.

My p51s only flow 389@28, but my car gos 9.05@149 with me 3275lb hauls the wood. Raced my buddy with my horse trailer full whipped him. He complained I had 4 more horse.

Ok, so it's been a long time with my P-51s coming. I got 436 out of mine finally, and that looks like to me that would be the Max that can be done. Took the time to raise the exhaust ports and yes they do have T&D shafts on them, has taller valves and different angles. The cam is in the 850's and will be on fogger. if the ol' 521 don't see 900, I'll be dissapointed. I will post the dyno sheet for you guys. Thanks for the help!

By 900, I mean without the NOS on the dyno. Got a CFM carb coming for it.
