Default Jon 460 build

Jon I think that everyone would like to see a nice basic build that you would do and recommend. I think that just about everyone respects you, and have built one hell of a reputation for your self and crew. I personally would like to see a proven build on a decent budget, No stroker just a 460 bored over. Thanks Joe

All depends on whose budget you're talking about.

Default budget build

i built my first 460 for under 4500. it went best of 10.52 in 3200 lb car. with cast iron heads. dove heads. intake n exhaust portmatched bowls cleaned up. egr bump removed. stock valve size. flat top pistons. performer rpm. 950 hp carb. 642 lift cam. block n heads decked. the weakest link that i found in a stock 460 is the rods. buy a good set of h-beam rods and a kaase oil pump.

Good luck.
Yup that's me, changing minds in the middle of some hahaha. The car is a pure street car, maybe a few trips to the track every month if possible and maybe some local grudges and that's about it. As far as power wise I don't set goals on how much as that always don't go as planned. But a good reliable 500+ whp don't sound bad. Most likely I will only stay na due to natzifornia laws being a street car.

Thanks anyways for the quick info.
