Sweden Mustang 545 Driving a Ford
Default 521 Twin turbo build

This is my new project, twin turbo with A-460 heads, forged 4,3 "rpm" crank, billet I-beam rods, Icon forged pistons 22cc reversedome, stock block with arp studs, custom stainless steel 2,25" twin-entry style headers, EFI and e-85 fuel, flat tapet mek cam 245/255 and 112lsa. The turbos are god for 1500+ hp but I dont think this block can handle that so I go for 1200hp and around 1 bar boost....

I love the look of the intake!
What size turbo's/throttle body are those and what efi are you gonna use?
Looks like a cool build!
Any would like to see more pics and info on the rest of the car.

You'd be surprised at what that stock block can handle if you stay on top of the tune.

What did you do with that aluminum 699 cin? You are using the heads and the extra intake from the 699 engine.

The 699 (now 703) are still complete and for sale, is other heads on this engine but the manifold are the extra I have for the 699 engine. The reason to engine swap are that I hope this turbo setup are more street friendly and still have same horsepower or more than the 699...

Very nice Mustang you got there. Friend of mine is building a little bit of similar '67 GT-500 replica only with naturally aspirated Boss 429 with Heidts front end and tubbed rear.
Keep up the good work with the car. That is good looking car. Updating to A460 block would be such a bad idea in a long run.

I wouldn't mind seeing your Mustang when it's ready. We have here in Finland Ford Nationals at the 9th of July in Alastaro racing circuit. It is 67 km (42 miles) from ferry harbour (Stockholm Sweden - Turku Finland). If something brokes, short tow/trailerin to Harbour. Unfortunately Ford Nationals are at the same time as the Swedish mega party/cruising Powermeet as it has been now for the last three years.

All the true Finnish Ford loyalist have been skipping the Powermeet for three years in a row and attending to Ford Nationals. 2010 we had:
65 US FoMoCo cars on dragstrip
33 US FoMoCo cars on open track
32 US Fomoco cars on autoslalom
+several cars at the car show etc.

Nice build!

Tell more that efi?
You can take near 2000hp with GT45:s what is turbine AR and engine top rpm?
Why e85? Rules?

Block can hande easy 1800hp with concrete and fourbolt main caps. I have one set for sale if you are interested
There is modified main studs 1/2" > 14mm 12.9 grade bolts. Cheap and easy mod

I have start to put the engine together.

The new forged rpm crank in the block.

I have notch the block so it fit the a-460 heads better.

The parts ready to take place in the block, Icon/kb forged pistons and rpm I-beam "billet" rods.

Here is the spec on the turbos, is china stuff.
Kompressor 066 A/R
Turbin 1,05 A/R
Inlet 109mm
Outlet 109mm, V-band klämma
Inducer 70mm
Turbinhjul 80mm
Trim 49
360 Lager

I use e85 for the higher oktan and it is cheap and easy to find on gas station here in sweden.

I have 4bolt caps, but it is lot off work to fit this in the block, so I do this on another block and change later or maybe go for the a-460 block in the next step....

How about dyno?
Nice see how 1.05AR work with 521"
I have experience 79mm 1.05AR turbine with 429, 460 and 598"
With 429 and 460 work just fine but with 598" come problems ext temp and press.
Next season i try 89mm 1.22AR turbine.

Write some info how engine work
There is not too much bbf turbo info..
