Default 1971 429 big block

Hey there everyone I'm new to this forum and I just purchased a 1971 ford 429 that came out if a ranchero. It has dove c heads on it. Got the motor and an aluminum bodied c6 with a converter. Can anyone tell me if this is a good motor? And if so Also what are some easy power mods? Is this a candidate for a stroker later? Also does anyone know how strong the aluminum bodied c6 is? Thanks I shall await to hear your input.

I know I was in the wrong forum when I made this thread and then realized it and so I posted again in engine tech.
